The concept of bringing in good luck, equivalent to good Chi, is connected to being in harmony with the Heavens. The use of direction, deities, animal symbology, and their application to create balance is evident in the historical and cultural record of ancient Chinese metaphysics and persists in use of charms or talismans, Ba’Gua mirrors, and other cultural practices today.

The 2025 Lunar New Year brings with it new energies, opportunities, and challenges as we move into the Year of the Yin Wood Snake.

The Snake and Dragon form the mystical and magical pair of the Lunar Zodiac Animals.  Unlike this passing year with the undeniably, mystical Dragon, though tempered by Yang Wood of 2024, the Snake archetype is strengthened by Yin Wood, encouraging us to come to know what we hold most valuable and expand our learning of hidden, metaphysical truths.  This is a perfect time to align with this energy and attend this talk!

Starting with an overview of the ancient Chinese metaphysical principles, Jennifer will consider how to prepare for and harness this shift on both personal and general scales, offering practical tips based on the Animals of the Lunar Zodiac.

Finally, Feng Shui Flying Star remedies  and cures in the form of colour, images or figures, shapes, and materials (elements) to maximize prosperity, health, and wealth, while minimize negative Sha (bad Chi), will be discussed and applied to live examples of volunteer IAAM members. This practice is open and accessible to all willing participants.
